Miramar Hotel and Investment (MHI) announces the appointment of its latest General Sales Agency - Great Southern Outbound for their representation services in the market of Australia and New Zealand.

The appointment is part of the Group's strategy to expand businesses and brand's customer relationship across key feeder markets whilst the engagement of this office marks the start of the sales and marketing efforts of MHI in Australia and New Zealand, in line with the brand's new business framework and focus.

Great Southern Outbound (GSO) is a newly created representation business based in Sydney established in partnership by Sales and Marketing Hotel professionals; Louise Barker and Angela Pearton. GSO provides a sales and marketing solution to off shore hotels and resorts in the key source market of Australia-NZ.  GSO currently represents hotels and resorts in Hong Kong, Malaysia and Fiji.

Louise Barker has more than 20 years of experience in Tourism, all contained within the hospitality sector working for companies such as Dynasty Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts, Mirvac Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, Stella Hospitality, Marriott International and Pan Pacific Hotels Group. Louise's career in sales & marketing began as a sales manager, progressed to Director of Sales & Marketing and most recently Director, Global Sales Australia-NZ.  Louise's key strengths lie in Leisure, TMC and MICE markets.

Angela Pearton has more than 20 years of experience in Tourism, all contained within the hospitality sector working for companies such as Accor Asia Pacific, Rydges Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts, View Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, Pan Pacific Hotels Group and more recently Urban Hotel Group. Angela's career in sales & marketing began as a sales manager and progressed to Director of Sales. Angela's key strengths lie in Corporate Transient, TMC and MICE markets.
