MIRA MOON HOTEL CELEBRATES CONTINUED SUCCESS IN 2014

May 2014, Hong Kong – Mira Moon Hotel in Causeway Bay, has won multiple international industry and media awards in its first half year of operation. The winning streak began for the new hotel in Hong Kong with the Asia Pacific Hotel Awards for Best Hotel Interior Hong Kong, prior to the hotel's opening in November 2013 and went from strength to strength scooping multiple media awards from publications such as Business Traveller Asia-Pacific, Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveller and Travel Weekly China.

Mira Moon made its debut earlier in the year on the Top 70 Hotels IT List at No.25 in the Travel + Leisure survey where editors and contributors log thousands of miles in order to evaluate the current year's most exciting hotel openings. Every hotel that is elected for this highly selective list is changing the travel landscape. The Henderson Land Development Co. Ltd owned Mira Moon Hotel in Causeway Bay was also awarded an impressive green title following an evaluation on the consumption of energy and resources. The China Green Building Design Label awarded Mira Moon with the highest 3 Star rating in March 2014.

In March, the hotel was recognized as a Best New Business Hotel in China by Business Traveller Asia-Pacific, capturing the significance of Mira Moon Hotel amongst key business and travel industry professionals as a tech-friendly hotel. In the first quarter of 2014, the handy smartphone device was introduced providing free unlimited 3G data and free local and international calls to 10 countries for use in Hong Kong, so no more missed calls when leaving the office.

In April 2014, Mira Moon won the 2014 Best New Boutique Hotel at the China Travel and Meetings Industry Awards 2014 organized by Travel Weekly China at an awards ceremony taking place in Shanghai. Attended by the leaders of China's burgeoning travel industry, the event recognized the very best in the travel space from China, Hong Kong and Macao.
The most recent award, Condé Nast Traveller UK, named Mira Moon Hotel as one of the world's best new hotels on The Hot List 2014, for its standout amenities, smart design and superb service. The 33 hotels that made the cut this year were selected after months of careful research, working with hundreds of suggestions that were sent in by the magazine's correspondents around the world.
