The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington has recently redesigned and renovated a number of bedrooms within the hotel creating a more contemporary and cutting-edge feel for its guests. At a cost of 2million the hotel's standard rooms on the first floor have been transformed using an 'East Meets West' design concept. The 143 newly renovated standard rooms have an emphasis on the simplicity and fluidity of this latest design, as well as the comfort and convenience for the discerning traveller. The rooms' style also conveys the look and feel of a modern home with generous use of natural colours to induce a calming effect. The bathrooms are fitted with marble countertops, polished vanity tops and custom art deco tap fixtures. These newly decorated rooms also provide guests with the latest in technology with high speed internet access. Millennium & Copthorne Hotels are owned by the Hong Leong Group Singapore, which brought a personalised touch to the renovations and remained closely involved with the room design and selection of furniture. The Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington is located in the heart of Kensington, just south of Hyde Park and in close proximity to many of London's major attractions including the Natural History, Victoria & Albert and the Science Museums, the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Palace.
