MGA Cover Services Limited, supplier of Financial Protection insurance products to the Travel Industry have launched a fundraising partnership with international water aid charity Just a Drop. 

Their 'Insurance Paying It Forward' scheme was launched at the MGA function on 26th November and has pledged £0.01 of every passenger declared on all products taken in the month of February 2015, guaranteeing a minimum donation of £1,000 to the charity. What's more, the company has invited others to get involved and either match the £0.01 pledge or to make their own contributions to the cause. 

Just a Drop was set up to address the shocking statistic that a child dies every 20 seconds from a water-related disease after its founder, Fiona Jeffery OBE, learned that just £1 could provide clean safe water to a child for up to 10 years. 

Lawrence Assock, Head of Commercial Partnership at MGA says: 

“At MGA Cover Services we are always keen supporters of worthy causes and after careful consideration we decided for 2015 to choose Just a Drop to support. MGA Cover Services have pledged £0.01 for each passenger declared on all financial protection products received for February 2015 – we will announce the final amount raised on World Water Day in March 2015. We would like to openly invite the Travel and Insurance Industry to join in on pledging £0.01 per passenger they book/cover or make a donation. MGA Cover Services will raise a good amount but if we all unite just think how much we can raise”.
