MESA Hotels and Resorts "Safety Week 2015"

From September 7 – 11, 2015, Mesa Hotels and Resorts conducted a 5 (five) day seminar on the importance of standard regulations and safety issues in businesses and companies. Through all their properties in Jakarta, Central Java and Bali, MESA invited the expert speakers in their professional field, who shared the important aspects and all influential factors of regulations and safety at the workplace.

In grandkemang Jakarta, the last day of seminar was dedicated to the surrounding businesses in Kemang area, from café and restaurant owners, banks, building management and other hotels. The first session in the morning introduced speaker Mr. Ade Feisal Siregar from UNDSS (United Nations Department of Safety and Security) who shared his knowledge and experiences about the impacts of terrorism on business. The second session featured a speaker from Samson Tiara, Mr. Dedy Muldiana who gave knowledge on emergency procedures in the workplace, such as in case of fire, earthquakes and others. The last session was a topic brought by Tourism Police, Mr. Ipda Hadi Hidayat, on different bomb squad techniques and procedures.

This full day seminar ended with a quiz and some door prizes to all participants, followed with a cocktail party at Vibar poolside for the sponsors and all media partners who supported our “Safety Week”.
Our objective thru this first “Safety Week” was for all participants to obtain all the knowledge and more awareness of the importance of safety and security in both businesses and daily life. Those threats can happen to anyone, anywhere and to any businesses. We hope that thru this seminar we helped increase the awareness about being more alert about safety and security of Kemang and all other surrounding areas. In conclusion, we hope our “Safety Week” inspired all parties.
