Mersey Ferries announce 2014 programme for Manchester Ship Canal Cruise

After a bumper season in 2013, Mersey Ferries have confirmed that the Manchester Ship Canal Cruise programme for 2014 will be increased to 60 trips. The 2013 programme included 46 trips, with an overall capacity for the season of 88% with 15, 694 passengers travelling during the season.  
 

The 2014 programme promises to be better than ever, each cruise will now have a dedicated host on board to make the experience even more enjoyable. The host will assist customers boarding and disembarking the vessel and will provide information on board about the two and half hour stopover opportunities in Liverpool and Salford Quays at the end of the cruise. Passengers travelling on this stunning journey will enjoy the trip in even more comfort with improved seating on the Mersey Ferry.
 

Councillor Gordon Friel, lead member for Ferries, Tunnels and Visitor Economy at Merseytravel, who own and operate the Mersey Ferries said: “After a fantastic 2013 season on the Manchester Ship Canal Cruise, we’re pleased to be able to announce that the 2014 programme is bigger and better than ever. With even more cruises to choose from and an enhanced on-board experience we’re confident that 2014 will be one our best seasons yet, so book early and avoid disappointment.”

Group bookings are already filling up, with a third of the total capacity available for 2014 cruises already booked.
