Méribel, 10 January 2016: Meriski (01285 648518; www.meriski.co.uk), the luxury catered chalet operator, has launched Meriski Partnerships to offer holidays in other ski resorts and to hand-picked destinations at other times of year.
The new initiative will look beyond Méribel, where the company has operated for more than 30 years, to various destinations around the world. The first partnership will be with Chateau St Pierre de Serjac, a new hotel and spa resort set in a working 19th-century winery in the south of France. Guests booking through Meriski Partnerships will enjoy exclusive complimentary extras, including access to the spa and a place in the kids' club. Plus, guests who book by 31 January will have a magnum of Champagne delivered to their door.
Chateau St Pierre de Serjac, in the Languedoc, is set in spacious gardens and surrounded by woods, olive groves and vines. It offers eight luxurious suites and 36 stylish self-catering villas, some with private pools, for two to 10 people. The hotel offers a host of fantastic facilities, including a top-quality Cinq Mondes spa and a Mediterranean restaurant serving excellent, good-value food and wine. Other highlights include an open-air infinity pool with bar service, kids' club, sporting activities and dedicated concierge.
“We've built a loyal following over the years and have an in-depth understanding of what our guests are looking for in a holiday,” said Colin Mathews, founder and chairman of Meriski. “It was a logical next step for us to carefully curate a collection of holidays embracing other ski destinations and destinations suitable for other times of the year, too.”
“We are delighted to recommend Chateau St Pierre de Serjac. It has been lovingly transformed by the current owners into a wonderful holiday destination that we know will appeal to many of our regular Meriski guests,” added Huw Davies, managing director of Meriski.
Seven nights at Chateau St Pierre de Serjac with Meriski costs from €2,093 (£1,773) per person, based on four sharing a two-bedroom villa, including exclusive complimentary access to the spa facilities for adults (worth €18 per person per day) and one kids' club place per family for five half-day sessions (worth €125). Guests who book by 31 January will receive a magnum of Champagne delivered to their door. International travel is not included.
