London, April 2018 –  The top labels in Spanish fashion return to Ibiza this summer with the new resort collection being showcased on 25 May at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. Featuring a more comprehensive collection of labels with a greater number of catwalks and presentations from Spanish brands, as well as a guest international designer, the event will unite key members of the fashion industry in the trend-setting location of Ibiza.

Fashion labels Alvarno, Andrés Sardá and Jorge Vázquez as well as 2nd Skin Co. and Custo BCN will feature at the 2018 edition of MBFWIbiza representing the cutting edge of Spanish fashion, joined by London based designer and beach & swimwear brand Melissa Odabash.

MBFWIbiza is being organised by Mercedes-Benz Spain, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and IFEMA. The event is being led by brand director of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Daniel Gómez Korf, and Charo Izquierdo, fashion and beauty events manager at IFEMA and director of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

Since the first edition in 2017, MBFWIbiza has become a firm fixture within the international calendar of resort collections and is the country's second largest showcase of Spanish fashion after the prestigious Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.

The catwalk programme will take place on 25 May offering a unique opportunity to discover the most cutting edge and revered brands in Spain in an enviable beachside setting next to the

Mediterranean Ocean. As well as bringing the most current labels to the heart of Ibiza and setting the fashion agenda for summer 19, the event marks one of the biggest social gatherings in Ibiza, positioning Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel as a meeting-place for key influencers from around the globe.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weekend Ibiza is sponsored by L'Oréal París, which will provide the official make-up and hairstyles for the event, and the fine jewellery firm Chopard, as well as Air Europa as the airline that will fly models and designers to Ibiza.
