MACAU -  Melco Crown Entertainment Limited (SEHK: 6883; Nasdaq: MPEL) (“Melco Crown Entertainment” or the “Company”), a developer and owner of casino gaming and entertainment resort facilities in Asia, proudly announced today that its Altira Macau and Crown Towers at City of Dreams Macau properties once again garnered Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards across their hotels, spa facilities and restaurants. Melco Crown Entertainment now holds eight Forbes Five-Star Awards, the most in Macau, representing industry recognition of the unparalleled service it delivers across all its properties.  

Every year the eminent Forbes Travel Guide celebrates properties around the world that meet the most stringent international hospitality standards with its Five-Star Awards. Among the nine restaurants in Macau awarded the Five Stars, four are from properties of Melco Crown Entertainment – Aurora, Tenmasa, Jade Dragon and The Tasting Room – while Altira Macau and Crown Towers at City of Dreams are two of the eight hotels in the city bestowed with the honor.

For six consecutive years, both Altira Macau and its Altira Spa have been awarded the prestigious Five-Star Award, while its Italian fine-dining restaurant, Aurora, has received the title for two years in a row. This year, the latest addition to the starred family is its Japanese restaurant, Tenmasa. Serving the freshest and finest ingredients flown in directly from Japan, and with a culinary history passed down through three generations of tempura masters, Tenmasa's refined service has now successfully earned it a place on this year's Forbes Five-Star restaurant list.

City of Dreams' Crown Towers has successfully maintained its status on the prestigious Star Rating list for the second year. It is the first and still the only hotel brand in Macau to have received the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star distinction for its hotel, spa and every restaurant (Jade Dragon and The Tasting Room).
