Melbourne's Most Cherished Mother's Day Destination Offers an Alternative Afternoon Tea Buffet Experience

High demand leads to the launch of a second Mother's Day event at Melbourne's iconic, Hotel Windsor.

This year due to increased demand, The Hotel Windsor, Melbourne's cherished venue for Mother's Day Afternoon Tea celebrations, will be adding an extravagant Mother's Day Afternoon Tea Buffet as an alternative to its traditional three-tiered stands.

Set in the sun-filled and contemporary Bourke Room, the inaugural event will showcase popular classics and unique creations comprising delicious ribbon sandwiches, savoury pastries, scones and an indulgent dessert buffet.

At the Afternoon Tea Buffet, guests can select an array of freshly-made, wonderful savoury items at their own leisure from an indulgent banquet table, as well as sweet selections from previous seasonal offerings such as Crème Brulee, Black Forest Gateaux, Anzac Sandwich and the Lamington, to name but a few.

Also set to be a crowd pleaser is an added variety of sinfully decadent chocolate desserts, not forgetting the 94cm tall chocolate fountain and condiments.

To mark the occasion, all Mothers will receive a special gift from The Hotel Windsor, a delicious and delicate Paris-Brest, a sweet choux pastry filled with praline cream.

All guests will be served with a glass of French sparkling wine on arrival before being presented with The Windsor's signature Afternoon Tea Blend, served at their tables.

For those looking to secure a place at the Hotel Windsor's Traditional Afternoon Tea or Afternoon Tea Buffet events, guests are advised to book early to avoid disappointment due to limited spaces being available.
