When the clock strikes midnight and fireworks erupt over Melbourne's skyline on New Year's Eve, 176 VIP guests will be sipping champagne 120 metres above the city on the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel as part of its exclusive New Year's Eve soiree.

The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel will be a late-night destination on New Year's Eve, with canapes, drinks and a DJ kicking off at 10.00PM in the open-air “Star Departure Lounge”. At 11.40PM event-goers will take a glass of Champagne and board 11 exclusive cabins to ensure their position at the highest point above Docklands when the wheel pauses for the fireworks display.
