When the clock strikes midnight and fireworks erupt over Melbourne's skyline on New Year's Eve, 120 VIP guests will be sipping champagne 120 metres above the city on the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel as part of its New Year's Eve soiree.
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel will be a late-night destination on New Year's Eve, with canapes and drinks kicking off at 10.30PM in the brand new, open-air “Star Departure Lounge”. Between 11.40 P.M and 11.45 P.M event-goers will take a glass of Champagne and board a cabin to ensure their position at the highest point above Docklands when the wheel pauses for the fireworks display.
