Largest Indoor Christmas Experience to open in the UK Welcome to the Magic
As the trend continues in the UK to have the biggest and the best Christmas attraction, Kent is again leading the way with a brand new event this year.
Santas Magical Kingdom opens its doors on Saturday 14 November 2009 and is an indoor attraction that promises a fun filled two and a half hour family experience, which includes all the childrens favourite Christmas activities from writing letters in the post office, meeting Elves and making decorations, to a pantomime, riding on a Victorian carousel and meeting Father Christmas.
After experiencing the Magical Kingdom, the fun continues in the decorated Christmas village square where snow covered trees and carol music create a wonderful atmosphere as families enjoy many more festive delights including skating on a real ice rink and strolling through the traditional Christmas market.
Visitors can even indulge in a Christmas lunch, which can be booked on the day of their visit.
The event, which is at the Hop Farm Family Park, is the only indoor Christmas attraction of its kind in Kent and 50,000 tickets are available for dates between Saturday 14 November and Thursday 24 December 2009.
The website has details of how to book www.santasmagicalkingdom.co.uk and tickets start from 25 per person for the two and a half hour indoor experience.
The Santas Magical Kingdom experience begins with a train ride through beautifully crafted Christmas scenes with moving characters and special effects. Children can wave at Father Christmas reindeer before the train arrives at the spectacular fairytale castle entrance to the Kingdom. Once inside children can meet elves and familiar animal characters, make a traditional Christmas decoration and delight in an interactive Christmas puppet show. Inside the post office children can write letters to Father Christmas and watch as they are whisked away along magic post tunnels and delivered straight to his post sack.
The journey continues down secret illuminated paths where visitors should look out for animated polar bears, penguins and mischievous elves in their beautiful winter surroundings. Next is a visit to meet Father Christmas, who will be waiting for each family in his cosy, private study. Children should keep an eye on the chimney, as they wouldnt want to miss the gifts that come tumbling down!
The journey comes to a close with a forty-five minute Christmas circus pantomime.
Other events outside Santas Magical Kingdom are mostly outdoors and some cost extra.
Owner of the Hop Farm Family Park Peter Bull has been planning Santas Magical Kingdom for a few years but it was only when he purchased The Hop Farm two years ago, that he had the ideal venue to bring his vision to life. He said My vision has always been to create the ultimate fantasy Christmas themed event which meets every childs dream and gives value for money.
Tickets to Santas Magical Kingdom start from 25 rising to 49 pp on Christmas Eve depending on date and time slot booked. Tickets also include use of the free VIP parking area close to the entrance. To book visit www.santasmagicalkingdom.co.uk
Groups and coaches are welcome with easy free parking for coaches. Please call Lorna Morris on 01622 870821 to discuss all your requirements.
