powdair, the new airline flying into Sion, Switzerland, has announced an official launch event on Wednesday September 6 at the Ellis Brigham store, Covent Garden. 

The event has three separate parts and allows both the media and members of the public to find out lots more about the new airline flying into Sion this winter.

The powdair team will be available to answer all your questions, along with BBC Ski Sunday presenter, Ed Leigh.

Here's the important information for your diary:

Official Media take off – 9am to 10am, Ellis Brigham, Covent Garden. Members of the media are invited to have an exclusive breakfast before the store opens to the public and hear some exciting news about further developments with powdair. Hear from the powdair team and Ed Leigh.

Open skies – 10am to 5pm, Ellis Brigham, Covent Garden. For any journalists who cannot make the official launch at 9am, there's a chance to call in at any time to meet the powdair team and Ed, hear the latest news and ask questions. The open day is also a chance for members of the public to hear about powdair for themselves throughout the day.

Twilight landing – 5pm to 8pm, Ellis Brigham, Covent Garden. Relaxed and informal get together for anyone interested in hearing more about powdair, with drinks and snacks available.

There will also be prize giveaways throughout the day.
