The Roskilde Festival is the largest music festival in Northern Europe, taking place every summer in the countryside settings outside Roskilde. This world-famous festival has been going from strength to strength since 1971 and this year looks like it could be the best ever. Great music will be pouring out from six stages over four days. The Roskilde Festival is widely regarded as the Scandinavian equivalent of Glastonbury and around 100,000 music and party-lovers from all over the world descend on Denmark for these four terrific days. There is more than music to revel in; skateboarding, break dancing and in case you thought you might miss it�a giant 40sqm screen will be showing the Football World Cup games live! The 2006 line-up includes names such as Guns n' Roses, Bob Dylan, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Editors and Morrissey. In total it adds up to some 160 acts from the best of the world performers in rock, pop. Soul, R&B and hip hop. If you haven�t �done� Roskilde yet - this is the time to go.

Roskilde is located 35kms west of Copenhagen and there are frequent train connections between the cities. Journey time is only about 30 minutes. Why not join the party?
