Island Hopping In The Seychelles 14 Aug 2007
Media Invitation: Island Hopping In The Seychelles

Beachcomber Tours

A chance to island hop and experience four very different islands in this Indian Ocean paradise. Beachcomber Tours, together with Denis Island and Air Seychelles will be hosting a media trip to the Seychelles departing on the evening of Friday 14 September and returning on Thursday 20 September, 2007.

Spend two nights on Denis Island, named after a French explorer, Denis de Trobriant who first discovered the island on August 12, 1773 and found the island to be a haven for a diverse assortment of birds as well as turtles and seals. The island is ideal for deep-sea fishing and scuba diving, inland theres dense tropical forest and nature trails. Denis Island even has Toby, its own 109-year old tortoise. Enjoy delicious Creole and international cuisine with much of the organic produce from the islands farm.

Spend three nights at Sainte Anne Resort & Spa, a private island resort set in the Marine National Park just a 10-minute boat ride from Mah. Discovered on Sainte Annes Day in 1756, it was the first place the early French settlers lived before colonising Mah. Relax in one of the 87-sea-facing Villas and enjoy a choice of water sports and nature walks, plus a pampering Spa by Clarins. Theres a choice of restaurants and a chance to sample some of the best cuisine in the Seychelles.

Included in the trip is a visit to Mah , the largest island in the Seychelles archipelago with one of the smallest capitals in the world, Victoria. A day trip to Praslin will include a visit to the famous Anse Lazio Beach, the setting for many famous films and commercials, and a visit to the Valle de Mai, a World Heritage Site and the only place in the world where the coco de mer palm grows.
