The newly opened Crown & Garter pub and restaurant with rooms located in the pretty village of Inkpen, Berkshire ( www.crown&garter.co.uk )  and Honesty Cookery School ( http://www.cookeryschool.honestygroup.co.uk/ )  situated on the borders of Hampshire and Berkshire would like to invite media to discover the delicious delights of the Crown & Garter and learn the art of home cooking on a one pot cookery course.

The Crown & Garter and Honesty Cookery School are both owned by cookery writer Romilla Arber.  Romilla believes in real food, not processed, pre-packaged items and both her establishments reflect her passion.  The Crown & Garter, serves seasonal, local produce and everything is made from scratch including the butter, mayonnaise and tomato ketchup!  Cookery schools are often expensive, however, Honesty is not.  The prices at Honesty are affordable, making them accessible to most people and all prices include ingredients, tuition and refreshments, some even include lunch in the price too.  Classes are varied and range in ability and are suitable for novice cooks to the more experienced.  There truly is something from everyone. 

The press trip will take place from the 23rd-24th February.  The evening of the 23rd will comprise of dinner at 7.30pm and an overnight stay at the Crown & Garter, followed by breakfast the following morning.  At 9.30am on the 24th, you will be collected from the Crown & Garter and taken to the Honesty Cookery School where you will experience the One Pot Cookery Course.  The course finishes at 1.30pm, allowing you plenty of time to head home.

The Crown & Garter is perfect for weekend and mid-week breaks and is the absolute good food bolthole.  Families are welcome and rooms 9 and 10 are interconnecting, ideal for families with young children.  

Both the interiors of The Crown & Garter and Honesty Cookery School are sleek but understated and have been individually designed.
