QANTAS AND EMIRATES A380 FLY OVER

Location: Sydney Opera House

Photo Opportunity: Qantas Group CEO Alan Joyce and Emirates President Tim Clark will be viewing the fly over from the Opera House.

Flight Plan: Aircraft will take off from Sydney International at 9:20am. Both aircraft will fly north to Longreef, then south and slightly out to sea, where they will turn and come into Sydney Harbour over Watson's Bay, then position to the north side of the Harbour, where they will pass the Sydney Opera House and fly over the Sydney Harbour Bridge at 10.30am. They will then fly as far as the Gladesville Bridge, turn around and come back in the same formation. The Qantas plane will lead at a height of 1500ft with the Emirates aircraft to the right and higher.

Location: Hangar 96 Sydney Airport. Entry via Gate 2 at Fifth Street, off Shiers Avenue and Sydney Domestic Terminal 3.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Media must RSVP by 4pm Thursday 28 March 2013.

• Broadcast media intending to film from a helicopter are able to attend a simulator session on Friday 29 March 2013 to discuss camera opportunities.

• All guests will be required to produce photo identification (driver's license or passport) to access the hangar and a bag check will be conducted. All visitors will also be required to do a short OH&S brief prior to entry.

• Vehicles will not be allowed onto the Jet Base but paid parking is available at the Domestic Terminal Car Park.

• Fully enclosed shoes (no heels) must be worn at all times during the event.

• Link trucks can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
