MEDIA ALERT: Nominations open for CLIA Media Award

November 1, 2022 – Nominations are now open for the 20th CLIA Cruise Industry Awards, which will return for the first time in three years with a gala celebration in Sydney on March 11, 2022.

Among the honours will be CLIA's Media Award, recognising high standards in cruise journalism in print and/or electronic media across Australia and New Zealand.

CLIA invites Australian and New Zealand media to take part. Submission of stories or broadcasts that showcase cruising will be accepted from freelance and staff journalists from mainstream, online and trade media outlets.

To be eligible for this award category, the article or broadcast will:

• Showcase the cruising experience or the innovations of the cruise industry

• Demonstrate creativity and originality

• Comprise at least 800 words (in the case of print/written)

• Have been published or broadcast during 2021 or 2022

The media award is open for self-nomination, with one entry permitted per journalist. Nominations can be submitted online (including a link or file to upload) and must be received by the end of November 30, 2022.
