Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai invites guests to experience the very best of Shanghai from refined luxury on the Pudong riverfront. Launching in time for the Chinese Labour Day holiday in May, the new 'Shanghai Dream' package treats guests to a sunset cruise, cultural visits and Mandarin Oriental's Executive Club privileges, suite accommodation and legendary service.
From their sumptuous suite, guests can enjoy spectacular views of the Huangpu River and iconic city skyline. During the day, they can embark on an Oriental Art and Culture Journey at the Aurora Museum, a few minutes drive from the hotel, where thousands of ancient Chinese cultural relics, including jade artifacts, Buddhist sculptures and porcelain, are showcased. Designed by acclaimed Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the museum's eye-catching exterior is inspired by an Oriental curio box.
Before sunset, guests can board a luxury yacht for a spellbinding waterborne tour of Shanghai. Setting off from the Shanghai Metropolitan Marine Yacht Club, next to the hotel, the 60-minute cruise along the Huangpu River features historic architecture and futuristic skyscrapers on the Bund and Pudong riverbanks respectively. A Mandarin Oriental butler will be on board to point out city landmarks and snap souvenir photos. Returning to the hotel, guests can unwind with cocktails in the elegant Club Lounge where an extensive selection of European and Asian snacks is available.
During their stay, guests can enjoy the hotel's superb facilities. In addition to celebrating a memorable moment in its bars and restaurants, guests can enjoy a reinvigorating workout in the 24-hour Fitness & Wellness Centre, take a leisurely swim in the 25-metre indoor swimming pool and relax in thermal baths. Or they can be pampered in, The Spa, which recently received Forbes Five-star Spa status and is offering special seasonal promotions on beauty and holistic wellness treatments.
Shanghai Dream package valid from 1 April to 31 December 2015 and priced from CNY4,300, plus 15% service charge. Offer subject to availability. Minimum two-night stay required.
