The theme selected for the final Women In Tourism Leadership Lunch for 2015 is Mentors and Masterminds. The lunch event will be held at View by Sydney Walsh Bay on Friday 30 October and any person working within the tourism, travel and events industry is welcome to attend.

Three special guests have been invited to the discussion panel which will be held over lunch and include Suzi Dafnis, founder of the Australian Businesswomen's Network; Penny Spencer, Owner and Managing Director of Spencer Travel and Founder and Chair of TIME Travel Industry Mentor Experience and Lyndel Gray, CEO at Caravan and Camping Industry Association NSW. Discussions around mentoring and its importance, including benefits to both the mentor and mentee, will be discussed in addition to the hot topic of Mastermind Groups.

“Napoleon Hill wrote about Mastermind Groups around 75 years ago with his book, Think and Grow Rich however the concept is relatively new to many, especially here in Australia,” said Holly Galbraith Co-Founder of the Women in Tourism Leadership events.

“The concept of a mastermind group is to drawn on a range of experiences to tackle business or personal related challenges and today many leaders and entrepreneurs link their success to participating in a Mastermind Group,” she said.
