The Duke of Roxburghe said: “It is wonderful to bring a new dimension to this long established event here at Floors and to see an increase in visitor numbers not only to Floors Castle but to the local Scottish Borders as all events such as this play an important part of the visitor economy.  The Food Court is a brilliant showcase to the best of the Border's natural larder.”

About the Castle & Estate

Originally built in 1721, Floors Castle is the largest inhabited castle in Scotland and home to the 10th Duke of Roxburghe.  Set in the beautiful Scottish Borders and part of the Roxburghe Estate, Floors Castle is open from Easter to October and gives a fascinating insight into the lives of successive Dukes.

As a family home, the Castle is both informal and grand with historic tapestries, beautiful gardens and two cafes with a focus on quality home produce.  Popular with group travel, corporate event organisers and individual visitors alike, a visit to Floors is a superb day out.
