Martini Time

The Butchart Gardens

With The Gardens being on Canada's west coast and the first stop for Asian visitors, our Dining Room Restaurant has a lovely martini to try.

So here is a virtual martini for you:

Lotus Martini

1 ½ fluid oz Vanilla vodka (we use Stoli)
½ fluid oz Lychee liquer (we use Soho)
2 ½ fluid oz Sparkling Ginger Lemon presse water

Garnish:
1 piece Ginger crystallized
  o Fill martini shaker with ice
  o Add all ingredients except ginger
  o Shake or swirl gently (the sparkling water will blow the top off the martini shaker if you are not careful)
  o Strain into a chilled martini glass
  o Garnish with candied ginger
