Marriott's International Business Council Bali today announced the first annual Charity Golf Tournament, which will take place on Friday, 10 August 2018. Hosted at New Kuta Golf in Pecatu - Bali, the sponsored tournament will benefit Bali Children Foundation, a foundation that provides an educational pathway for disadvantaged Balinese children – a journey leading to growth and long term sustainability.

“We are excited to have this first annual charity golf tournament,” said Brad Edman, General Manager of Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa and as a Chairman of Marriott Business Council Bali. “Our brands and partners have shown overwhelming support for this cause, and we're thrilled to help raise awareness and funds for such impactful children organizations.”

With their registration fee, each golfer will receive a goodie bag, activities including drinks and food on all 18 holes, 18 hole competition and an awards ceremony. Throughout the day there will be an array of on-course challenges like longest drive, straightest drive and closest to the pin. Post golf, a special dinner will be served at Renaissance Bali Resort & Spa, where all golfers can enjoy the stunning views of the Indian Ocean or the lush lands of the Bukit and go into the draw to win an array of prizes.

Organized by Par 5 Club, the golf tournament will become part of the annual campaign to raise funds to promote and support educational programs and scholarship funds for youth in Bali.
