Mantra Nusa Dua Bali has completed final touches to the brand new resort in readiness for holidaymakers, conference groups, wedding parties and honeymooners. The first hotel in Asia for the Mantra Group, it marks an ongoing expansion in the region for the Australian hotel brand.
"The resort offers a great experience to guests who know and love the Mantra style and service," said Mantra Group CEO, Bob East.
"We are proud to see the Mantra name in Bali, combining a brand and a destination already popular with the Australian and New Zealand market."
Having partially opened with the first wing of accommodation in March, Mantra Nusa Dua now has all 172 rooms completed as well as all leisure facilities and food and beverage outlets. The resort offers an exclusive onsite Chakra Spa & Wellness facility; state of the art fitness club; a unique indoor/outdoor pool with pool bar & lounge plus separate children's pool.
To celebrate the opening of Mantra Nusa Dua, a special launch package is on offer. Stay for three nights from US$129* per night in a Superior Room (US$387 total minimum spend) or from US$259* per night in a 1 bedroom suite (US$777 total minimum spend) and enjoy a 1 hour Balinese massage per person in the new Chakra Spa & Wellness centre. Offer is valid for booking and travel until 31 March 2014 (*Subject to availability. Conditions apply). Visit www.mantra.com.au/nusadua or phone 13 15 17 for bookings and further details.
Three food and beverage outlets are on offer including Rasa, an all day dining outlet serving traditional Indonesian cuisine; the Orchid Lounge for casual dining and light meals; and Splash poolside dining and bar.
Extensive conference space with a ballroom catering for up to 400 delegates and eight meeting rooms and boardrooms with dedicated business centre is also on offer. The resort is also a perfect destination for weddings with a purpose built ceremony venue offering panoramic ocean views.
Mantra has partnered with MJB Hoteliers on the Mantra Nusa Dua project and will continue to work with them to secure further development and acquisition opportunities in Bali across all three of Mantra Group's brands - Peppers, Mantra and BreakFree - over the next 12 months.
Negotiations are under way on a further six hotels, two which will carry the Mantra name as well as well the first BreakFree property - Mantra Group's economy style brand. Another three properties in the pipeline will see the luxury Peppers brand make its debut into the market.
"We see Indonesia as a very attractive growth destination - it is short-haul with consistent and inexpensive air access, has an attractive exchange rate and is popular with Australian and New Zealand leisure visitors.
"There is a rapidly growing Indonesian middle class with domestic tourism a huge growth market and both private and public organisations are focused on infrastructure investment into transport, accommodation and event venues.
"With this in mind we have a mandate to expand our network and leverage our systems, strong brands and expertise in hotels and apartment hotels."
The expansion into Asia complements the Group's extensive growth in the Australian and New Zealand network. A new Peppers development on Naisoso Island in Fiji is also due to start construction in 2014.
