Manor Cottages Offers Savings On Cotswold Wildlife Park Entry

Manor Cottages

Cotswold cottage experts www.manorcottages.co.uk have teamed up with 'The Cotswold Wildlife Park' to offer guests some great savings during their stay in the Cotswolds.

“Visitors to the Burford region of the Cotswolds with children should certainly make some time in their holiday diary for a trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park. Set in over 160 acres of stunning parklands. Home to a diverse species of animals, the park is separated into four different sections, birds, large mammals, primates and small mammals and reptiles. It's a day out worth doing.” Comments Chris Grimes, Managing Director at www.manorcottages.co.uk.

A fantastic day out for all the family including the dog! Stroll around the Park and watch Rhinos graze on the lawns in front of the Gothic Manor House. Walk up the Giraffe walkway and get eye-to-eye with these amazing creatures or explore the Walled Garden's Tropical House with free roaming sloth, birds and bats. Watch the Penguin's being fed and then get up close with the Lemurs in their free-roaming Madagascar Exhibit.

Take a ride on the Bella the Train around the Park, explore the adventure playground or do a Brass Rubbing in the Manor House. Discover the Farmyard with Goat petting area, guinea pigs, rabbits and other farm animals.

Snake fans will love the Reptile house with venomous snakes including Black Mambas, giant Anacondas and Morelet's Crocodiles to name but a few.  If that wasn't enough then peek in our dark Bat House. Alternatively creep into the recently renovated Insect House with Scorpians, spiders, cockroaches and other bugs.

“I've brought my children here for years. It's a great way to introduce them to wildlife.” Bear Grylls, TV presenter and Chief Scout.

Cotswold Wildlife Park Editors Notes:

Opened in 1970 at Bradwell Grove, by Reggie Heyworth's father to bring new life to a house and park that he loves, his aim was to share with as many people as possible an enduring interest in nature.

Over forty years later, he and his family are delighted to welcome you to what is now one of the UK's largest zoological collections and most exciting gardens. Millions of visitors in that time have discovered the beauty and diversity of the natural world.

The Park relies totally on our visitors contributions. All visits to the park are vital to the staff and the animals here. It also enables Cotswold Wildlife Park to support a thriving education programme, numerous endangered species breeding programmes and several vital conservation projects in the wild.
