Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group to Open Dedicated Sales & Marketing Office in Australia And New Zealand from 2013

Following the retirement announcement of Frank Zwarteveen, Managing Director of Pamela Scott Associates, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will open a dedicated Regional Sales & Marketing office in Sydney from 1 January 2013, under the leadership of Peter Hession, Regional Director of Sales, Australia and New Zealand.

Michael Hobson, Chief Marketing Officer for Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group said, "Frank's wife, Pamela Scott, represented Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for over 30 years and we were all extremely saddened to lose such a valued colleague. Over the last two years, Frank, as managing director of Pamela Scott Associates, has done a remarkable job of promoting our interests in this all important market. While we are sorry to see Frank depart, we wish him all the very best in what we hope will be more leisurely pursuits."

Mandarin Oriental's new office will commence operation from 1 January 2013. Mr. Hession will announce the office location and contact details in due course. In the meantime, Pamela Scott Associates continues to represent Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group's sales, marketing and media interests until 31 December 2012.
