Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is delighted to announce three new Senior Management appointments in Europe.
Diana Banks, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Europe, Middle East & Africa Diana Banks has joined Mandarin Oriental as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Europe, Middle East & Africa based at the Group��s regional sales office in London. Ms Banks brings a wealth of experience in the European and Middle East market place. Prior to joining Mandarin Oriental, Ms Banks was with Pegasus Solutions where she was responsible for the company��s global Sales & Marketing efforts. Ms Banks previously held a number of senior Sales & Marketing roles within the hotel industry, including positioning The Grove in Hertfordshire and most recently, repositioning of The Langham in London.
Michel Checoury, Regional Director of Finance, Europe, Middle East & Africa Michel Checoury has been appointed as the Group��s Regional Director of Finance for Europe, Middle East & Africa. He joins Mandarin Oriental from Jumeirah Group in Dubai where he was Resort Director of Finance. Prior to that, Mr Checoury gained extensive industry experience with Deloitte & Touche, Euro Disney, Starwood and InterContinental Hotel Group. A French national, Mr Checoury holds a degree in Economic Science and an MBA from Paris University XII. He is based at Mandarin Oriental��s corporate office in London.
Franck Sibille, General Manager, Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma, Marrakech Franck Sibille has been appointed General Manager of Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma, Marrakech which is slated to open in 2009. Mr Sibille, a French national, was most recently General Manager of Villa Magna Park Hyatt in Madrid.
After studying at the University of Grenoble and the University of Denver, he joined Hyatt International, working in a number of management positions in Hong Kong, Paris, Riyadh, and Casablanca before moving to Madrid in 2002. Mr Sibille brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the global hospitality industry.
