Making a Song and Dance of It! It's Showtime at Eurocamp's New Performing Arts Kids' Clubs

Eurocamp

Dance Classes, Singing Lessons and Musical Theatre all On the Programme for 2017

On-Parc Sessions Cater for Everyone from Pre-Schoolers to Teenagers

Fun seekers and would-be performers are being offered a summer to remember as Eurocamp launches three dance-tastic new Kids' Clubs for 2017.

The on-parc sessions will offer something for everyone – providing tailored activities for one to 17 year-olds.

Taking in everything from breakdance, street dance and hip hop, to singing lessons and musical theatre productions, they'll give budding young talent the chance to show what they can do and have loads of fun in the process.

The sessions will be run by specialist British company Razzamataz across two popular French parcs, La Croix du Vieux Pont, near Paris and Domaine des Naiades in the Riviera.

The one and two-hour clubs offer training in age appropriate groups and will run in addition to existing activities and arts and crafts.

Younger children (aged between one and five) will love the Learn to Dance sessions, combining movement to music around themes like 'In the Jungle' and 'Under the Sea'. Classes are split into two age groups; tots (one to three) and Minis (three to five) and parents and guardians are welcome to watch or join in too.

Catering for four to nine and nine and 17-year-olds, Street Dance clubs have been designed to keep older holidaymakers, aged four to 17 amused too. Combining authentic break dancing, locking, body-popping, hip hop and house moves, Street Dance will appeal to a wide range of new and experienced dancers.

The third new club is Star Academy which gives kids the chance to try out musical theatre, song and dance skills, pop singing, street dance, drama and improvisation before appearing in their own show.

Star Academy runs over three funky two-hour sessions using songs from movies, musicals and the charts to keep children engaged and create a cool 'end of term' style production for family and friends.

Speaking about the clubs, Eurocamp's Head of Marketing, Chris Hilton, said they were looking forward to seeing them in action. He commented: “Our Kids' Clubs are a really important part of what we do and we are always looking for ways to improve and extend the range of activities on offer.

“We know that many of our guests have children who enjoy performing and dance is an extremely popular trend at the moment with children drawing inspiration from talent shows – so we're delighted to be able to introduce more performing arts and dance clubs at some of our most popular parcs.

“Razzamataz is one of the UK's leading providers of these services and you may have even heard of them from Dragons' Den. We are really pleased to be teaming up with them and think they will bring a unique experience to the two parcs where they'll be running”

Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz comments: “There are so many benefits that come from participating in performing arts; from increased confidence through to teamwork and life skills but what we want mostly is to provide holidaymakers with a fantastic and fun experience and a chance to make new friends.”

A small fee will be charged for activities, with prices starting from as little as six Euros a session.
