Make It a Day for... Spoiling Mum in Otley

All About The Story

Leeds, March 16, 2017: The West Yorkshire market town of Otley has a long history of mums looking after their broods – Tittybottle Park was where Victorian mothers and nannies would take their charges to be nursed by the calm waters of the River Wharfe. This year it's the town's turn to give something back to mum – and Mothering Sunday on March 26 is being celebrated with an array of special offers to treat her, from delicious dining experiences to money-off deals in some of the many independent shops.

Brunch & a bunch

The last Sunday of the month is farmers' market in Otley and florist-cum-café Casa Vitae on Market Place has teamed up with the Edward St. Bakery to provide a pop-up brunch offering. Mum gets coffee and cake on a visit, with a surprise bouquet bought to the table before you leave. Places are limited, so booking is essential. Casa Vitae is also offering a limited amount of free local deliveries on Mother's Day.
