Close House is a luxurious hotel located just 20 minutes from Newcastle in the heart of the Northumberland countryside. This festive season they are taking the stress out of Christmas and making it a year to remember. Arriving on Chrismas Eve and departing after a relaxing lie in and a scrumptuous breakfast on Boxing Day, the two night stay will include plenty of decadence with Champagne, mince pies, gifts and most importantly – food! To really get into the festive spirit, on Christmas Eve residents at the hotel are invited to local church Wylam for Midnight Mass and some good old carole singing.
 

Arriving at their leisure on Christmas Eve, guests will be greeted with Mulled wine and mince pies followed by afternoon tea. After some time to relax and take in the picture perfect scenery that surrounds the stunning 18th Century mansion, visitors can make their way to a luxurious three course dinner at either 2AA Rosette Argent D’Or, or Restaurant No19 where they will be met with a champagne reception and a selection of delicious canapes.
 

Following a decadent meal in one of the atmospheric and beautifully decorated restaurants and the Midnight Mass carole service at Wylam, guests will return to the hotel to find a delightful selection of minced pies and hot toddies in their room.
 

On the day itself there will be no washing up gloves in sight, just time to relax and enjoy the special day with those nearest and dearest. After breakfast, visitors will return back to their rooms to find a special gift, with love from Close House. Chritmas lunch will be served either in the majestic Argent D’Or or No.19 and in the evening for those who aren’t bursting at the seams there will be a buffet in the Champagne Lounge.
 

On Boxing Day after breakfast, guests will be free to depart at their leisure safe in the knowledge that they have had a thoroughly relaxing and magical Christmas and made the most of their time away from work.
