Major Refurbishment of the Cotton House, Mustique by Acclaimed Parisian Designer Tristan Auer

Mustique

Tristan Auer, a prevailing force in the design world, famed for his stellar line up of work on the Hotel de Crillon and the Hotel Les Bains amongst others, has worked his magic on the renowned Cotton House Hotel on Mustique.

Having been closed for two months for a full refurbishment of The Great Room and The Verandah Restaurant, this picture perfect Caribbean chic boutique hotel has been restored to it's rightful place at the heart of the island.

Auer has taken his inspiration from Oliver Messel's original villa designs and the resulting style is quintessentially colonial Caribbean in design with a slightly theatrical feel in terms of layout.

The Cotton House was taken over by The Mustique Company a couple of years ago (it was previously under a management contract) and they immediately put in place Chef Tristan Walsh (ex Launceston Place and Petrus) and launched the Beach Café and Beach Bar. The most recent developments of the magnificent Great Room and Verandah Restaurant are yet another hugely exciting step forward for a truly iconic establishment.

A Garden View Cottage room at The Cotton House costs from £175 per person night based on two sharing on a b&b basis. International flights from London to St Lucia are available from £520 per person return and the domestic flight transfers from Barbados to Mustique cost £350 per adult round trip.
