New hotel and lounge in Madrid’s Calle Barquillo to open in September 2013
 

London, July 2013 - Palladium Hotel Group announces the imminent opening of its latest Madrid property, ‘Only YOU Hotel & Lounge Madrid’; a boutique property located in Madrid’s Chueca district, forming part of Spanish urban brand Ayre Hoteles. 
 

Known for innovation and pioneering hotel concepts, Palladium Hotel Group announces the newest addition to its growing portfolio following the success of ‘The Ushuaïa Tower’ which opened in May this year in direct response to the increased demand for upmarket accommodation in Ibiza.
 

Created as a lifestyle hotel in an original 19th century townhouse, Only YOU is located on 21 Barquillo Street in one of Madrid’s most fashionable districts, home to creatives, cafes and boutiques.  Just minutes away from many of Madrid’s main sites including Retiro Park, The Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia, Only YOU Hotel & Lounge Madrid makes a great base for exploring the Spanish capital.
 

Essential to the new hotel concept is the hotel’s lounge which will take centre stage as an adaptable “live” space for art, music and gastronomic talent, where the cocktail menu and the music will change throughout the day, adapting to Madrid’s eclectic social scene. 
 

In charge of the décor, Barcelona based interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán has cleverly combined colonial colours with a true sense of the Mediterranean resulting in a contemporary, elegant and comfortable space that fits perfectly with the cosmopolitan spirit of Madrid.
 

With an investment of over 20 million euros, and close to 50 new jobs generated, the new boutique hotel is scheduled to open in September 2013 with 70 individually designed rooms and will provide a new contemporary space for visitors and Madrileños alike.
