M&S Money Offers Mexican Currency Refund

M&S Money

M&S Money is offering to refund in full Mexican Pesos or US Dollars purchased from M&S by customers who had booked a trip to Mexico and have now opted not to travel.

The Foreign Office has warned against all but essential travel to Mexico following the swine flu outbreak.

M&S travel money customers can take their unused Mexican Pesos or US Dollars into any of the 116 M&S bureau de change until close of business on Friday 8th May 2009 and exchange for the full amount of sterling that they paid for the currency.

Customers must provide proof of foreign currency purchase from M&S and proof of intended travel to Mexico. The offer is also open to customers who purchased currency from M&S via the internet or telephone.

James Yerkess, M&S Travel Money Manager, said: We sympathise with all those who have been left disappointed by the loss of their holiday. By offering to refund the foreign currency in full at the same rate to which they bought it, we are hopefully taking away some of the disappointment caused to M&S customers. Marks & Spencer Travel Money is available at bureaux de change in M&S stores across the country, also by telephone on 0800 363 484 and online at www.marksandspencer.com/travelmoney
