High end holiday provider, Luxury Lodges is offering truly luxurious home from home retreats for staycationers holidaying in the UK this year, having recorded a high volume of summer bookings already.
Brexit and lengthy lockdowns are deeming foreign travel seemingly less and less likely for this summer, but Luxury Lodges has plenty of hotel-quality options to appeal to the huge surge in staycations.
All four resorts – Dylan Coastal Resort in Laugharne, near Tenby in Pembrokeshire, Whitbarrow in the Lake District and both Clowance and Burn Coastal Retreat in Cornwall, introduced stringent safety and hygiene measures and contactless check-in procedures in July, when they reopened after the UK's initial lockdown.
Existing bookings at Clowance are 90% occupied for the peak period of July and August, with bookings across all four resorts forecast to be higher than previous years.
Luxury Lodges' sumptuous offerings are therefore the perfect solution for many keen travellers who are cautious about foreign travel or about solitary quarantine on their return.
Bookings have been very popular with domestic holidaymakers looking for some deserved rest and relaxation after months at home and Luxury Lodges' summer occupancy promises to exceed all other seasons.
Sharon Hurley, founder of Luxury Lodges, said: “We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests to our four resorts, which offer something different to meet staycationers' requirements.
“Our fully equipped lodges provide a relaxing home from home, with wonderful finishing touches including private hot tubs with outstanding views, for guaranteed relaxation recuperation after a particularly challenging few months.
“Facilities at each resort ensure every stay with us feels like a hideaway retreat. Offerings like the newly launched £7m Milk Wood House spa and pool at Dylan Coastal Resort is the highlight of any getaway.
“Throughout lockdown, our team has worked hard to hone health and safety processes such as contactless check-in and strict cleaning protocols to keep our guests and teams safe during these unprecedented times, ensuring that they can enjoy safe, comfortable holidays.
“We are very much encouraged by this rise in staycation reservations after the UK's travel industry has been badly affected by the pandemic.”
Luxury Lodges combine unique architecture with superior interiors, state-of-the-art kitchen facilities and Dylan Coastal Resort underwent a £20M refurbishment earlier this year. All four resorts offer award winning cuisine and the perfect escape for creating unforgettable memories with the multi-generational relatives who matter the most.
