07 July 2020 - Luxurious four-star Hoshino Resort RISONARE Kohamajima has opened in Okinawa, Japan's subtropical southern prefecture, just three hours by air from Tokyo. Situated on the beach-lovers' paradise of Kohamajima in the YaeYama Islands, the stylish and newly built property offers 60 modern and spacious private suites built around a pristine lagoon. All suites have their own terrace and daybed and some offer private pools and jacuzzi-style outdoor bathtubs. 

First opened in April 2020, the resort closed shortly after welcoming its first guests due to the global pandemic, however it has now reopened its doors and offers guests a rural coastal retreat in an idyllic island setting.
