Here are some of Luxury Gold's newest 2019 journeys that feature over 80% Definite Departures:
Remarkable Russia with Trans-Siberian Option (22 days): Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, guests are taken to the glamorous and luxurious Grand Hotel Europe, a gateway to the country's illustrious past featuring grand architecture. They'll then join their Traveling Concierge for an elegant gastronomic experience at Restaurant Legran. Later guests set off on a private sunset cruise and take in Russia's White Nights – a stunning natural phenomenon where the sky remains bright after midnight. The Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg will open exclusively to Luxury Gold guests for a private, after-hours visit. They will sip champagne and delight in the resplendent atmosphere as they explore the treasures of the palace of the czars with an art historian. Guests will then be whisked off to Peterhof Palace in style on a hydrofoil boat, and enjoy the palace and gardens of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the “Russian Versailles.” After traveling to Moscow in business-class comfort aboard the Sapsan train, they will explore the beautiful Grand Kremlin Palace and learn about the fascinating history of the czars during a behind-the-scenes visit to the Royal Apartments. Guests also take a VIP backstage tour of the Bolshoi Theatre, one of the most famous in the world. On this itinerary's Trans-Siberian Express option, guests spend an evening at the luxurious Ritz Carlton Moscow hotel before spending 11 days onboard the Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian Express, exploring Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Ulan Ude, Ulaanbataar (Mongolia) and Vladivostok. (This itinerary is also available without the Trans-Siberian option, as an eight-day journey.)
Ultimate Ireland (12 days): Guests begin their journey in vibrant Belfast with a visit to the Titanic Belfast Museum, delving into Northern Ireland's incredible maritime legacy and connection to the legendary ill-fated ship. They'll also meet Hilda, a Belfast local, and learn about the city's complex history. Onwards, they will go on a private excursion with a local ranger to the Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guests then venture to Dublin and explore the Custom House and Dublin Castle before meeting esteemed author and food critic Trevor White. During an after-hours visit to The Little Museum of Dublin, guests receive a signed copy of his latest book. They will also enjoy a dinner at the Michelin-starred l'Ecrivain, renowned for its flavorful classic French cuisine. In Kilkenny, guests visit a local farmer's market and enjoy an indulgent truffle tasting before immersing themselves in the Gaelic culture of Blarney during an Irish dance lesson and professional show. Guests end their journey with a luxurious two-night stay at the magnificent five-star Ashford Castle, which is part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection. They can choose either an elegant afternoon tea, or a unique falconry experience at the oldest established falconry school in Ireland.
