'Earthing is a timeless practice, a modern discovery, and a growing movement. It is not a treatment… it's a hugely rewarding return to a core aspect of Nature we have abandoned.' - The Earthing Institute – Reconnecting people to the planet.

Camp Adounia is run by local Berber and Nomad people.  It is a luxury eco camp and can be booked throughout the year.  The camp can be booked by groups or individuals and also retreat companies. We want to be a fully conscious luxury camp in the Sahara who enjoy the wonderful energy of the dunes and the beach without leaving any negative impact on the environment.

Camp Adounia provides specific Philanthropic one on one tours to visit the Desert Nomads and ancient mud kasbahs.  We are respectful and shun mass tourism, this is a one on one experience which acts as an exchange between cultures.

Our project 'Nomad' is a fair trade project set up to buy and sell for the Sahara Nomad Community – this dialogue and trade will eventually create sustainable resources for the families and community..

Who are they for:

These holidays are for busy people and their families with a sense of adventure, interest in new cultures and traditional skills from people living from the land and a need for time out to remind themselves of what life is all about, find some balance, dance around a camp fire with kindred souls, find inspiration in powerful natural environments, and be nurtured and pampered back to vitality.  Sitting under the millions of stars around a camp fire listening to ancient drumming will touch your soul.
