A luxury campsite, on Onguma Game Reserve, was recently opened with 8 sites (7 more are due by the end of April). Onguma Tamboti offers private and secluded sites with their own ablution facilities and washing up areas. A restaurant overlooking an active waterhole provides campers with meal options and a supply store ensures self-catering campers are well fed.
Each campsite has a generous shower room, a washing up area with enough space to be able to repack your belongings and a separate toilet. Plug points are provided ensuring cameras and iPads are always fully charged – ready for that unique game sighting. A swimming pool was recently completed giving relief from the hot Namibian days.
Onguma Reserve covers 34 000 hectares of private wildlife area bordering the eastern side of the iconic Etosha National Park in Namibia. Camping guests will typically explore the park in the mornings and return home to enjoy sundowners from the restaurant area, or go on a game drive or nature walk on the Onguma Reserve where 4 of the “big five” roam freely.
Rates are N$ (Namibian Dollars) 180 per person per night.
