The package combines a luxurious stay with unforgettable excursions including a bamboo raft jungle safari, longtail boat experience and a personalised tour to discover a more authentic glimpse of local Thai life.

From just THB 79,295 (approx. £1,972) two guests can enjoy 7-nights in a Garden Residence between 04 May and 24 October 2021, a 'Just For Two' Sea Adventures trip to Phang Nga Bay, a Jungle Adventures trip to Khao Sok, a Glimpse of Local Life, Day in the Life of a Local personalised tour, all day a la carte breakfast served until 6pm with sparkling wine and private transfers to/from Phuket International Airport. What's more, guests can opt in to join The Sarojin team on their regular 'Sarojin Cares' volunteer days in the community or take part in the resort's ongoing beach, coastal and mangrove and environmental care activities.

Guests can begin their stay with a 'Just For Two' Sea Adventures trip to Phang Nga Bay, which departs early to catch a glimpse of the picturesque sunrise. A morning of traversing the waters aboard a traditional fisherman's longtail boat is then followed by a sea cave canoeing experience amongst the region's iconic limestone karst rocks and a stop at Tapu Island - more famously known as 'James Bond Island'. After lunch at a local restaurant in the 'Sea Gypsy Village' the excursion ends with a visit to Wat Thamsuwankuha and a Monkey Cave Temple.

During their stay, travellers can also experience a Jungle Adventures trip to Khao Sok which includes a canoe or bamboo raft safari through Khao Sok National Park, a chance to learn about the care and welfare of Thailand's gentle giants during a visit to a local elephant sanctuary and a gourmet safari-style lunch prepared by the team at The Sarojin using delicious seasonal produce.

The adventure continues with a Glimpse of Local Life, Day in the Life of a Local experience where the resort's expert guides take guests on a custom-made tour offering a rare and more authentic insight into genuine Thai culture. Here guests can visit producers, farmers and fisherman to learn about life in a rural community, ignite their senses at a local food market, take a moment of reflection at the Ban Nam Khem Tsunami Memorial Park, explore the country's links to religion at a Buddhist temple or visit the Camillian Social Centre which cares for disabled children.

Back at The Sarojin there's still plenty more for adventure enthusiasts to enjoy, from the use of complementary mountain bikes to explore on land to sailing catamarans, sail boats, sea kayaks and windsurfing boards for those more tempted by the water. Garden Tours are also available showcasing the area's local wildlife including The Sarojin's endearing resident squirrels who love to be hand-fed bananas. For avid readers, the resort has a complimentary Press-Reader app and high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout its grounds, allowing guests to browse at their leisure.

The 'Sarojin Cares Adventure' package is based on a rate for two adults sharing a Garden Residence for seven nights between 04 May and 24 October 2021, inclusive of activities listed. Prices vary depending on the date of stay. Upgrades to a Pool Residence or Jacuzzi Pool Suite are available at an additional cost.

Bookings must be guaranteed by credit card. Cancellations made three days or less prior to arrival date are subject to one night's room charge. The Sarojin Community Care Fund

Established in December 2004 The Sarojin Community Care Fund, which was initially set up to help rebuild the communities surrounding our resort in the wake of the devastating Boxing Day tsunami, continues to contribute to a number of worthy local projects in Khao Lak. From providing medical provision for prosthetic limbs and supporting local orphanages with childcare, to building school classrooms, roads and covering the cost of a full-time veterinary surgeon to care for the local wildlife, there's such a huge variety of ways our fund gives back to those closest to us. Guests are encouraged to donate to the fund during their stay, with 100% of the money raised distributed to local community projects.
