Luxperience 2014 will take place in Sydney 31 Aug - 3 September 10 Jul 2014
Luxperience is Now SOLD OUT

Luxperience

Australasia's only luxury and experience travel show Luxperience has now sold all available exhibition spots.

Achieving a 3-year objective, with growth of 38 per cent for its 2014 exhibition, Luxperience is now sold out. The exhibition has experienced a significant increase in exhibitors from Europe and the UK as well as increases in the Asia Pacific regions.

Destination tourism boards are now also recognising the credibility of the show, with countries including the Philippines, Fiji, Mauritius, Tahiti, Dubai, Peru, Macau, India, Thailand and Bhutan all exhibiting this year.

New Zealand, which has the greatest share of exhibitors, has doubled its presence to 26 per cent of the total, closely followed by Asia, which is on a par with Australia at 25 per cent of share with an increase of almost 10 per cent year on year.

CEO Lindy Andrews believes Luxperience's performance is very positive for the luxury tourism sector. She says: “What these figures don't indicate is the trend we have seen for more boutique properties and unique experiences signing up to showcase their product at Luxperience, alongside well known names like Lizard Island, Huka Lodge and One&Only Hayman Island which are established Luxperience members.

“This year we have also seen a 57 per cent increase in the number of adventure and experiential tour companies exhibiting as more and more operators recognise that today's high-end traveller wants a richer experience while on holiday.

“Our experiential exhibitors are of a high calibre and offer bespoke travel designers a choice of unique experiences in some of the most divine locations around the world; from ski safaris in the Swiss Alps, to trekking in the foothills of the Himalayas in Bhutan through to unique water based activities in Queenstown.”

Buyers can benefit from up to three days of pre-scheduled appointments with a choice of exhibitors, access to exclusive social networking events over the three days, hosted flights and accommodation in Sydney for interstate and global buyers, return airport transfers and access to the LuxConnect Private Community and to initiatives such as the Corporate Connect Event, and 'Thought leaders Forum '.

Luxperience will be staged at Sydney's Pier 2/3, Walsh Bay from 31 August to 3 September 2014. As the only bespoke travel exchange in the Southern Hemisphere it has become an essential forum for exhibitors, buyers and international media with an interest in luxury and experiential travel.
