Luxperience appoints new staff and board members ahead of 2014 event

SYDNEY, FEBRUARY 2014 - Luxperience 2014 has appointed new staff and prestigious board members as the rapidly emerging show gains momentum.

 

Meeko Tien has been appointed Buyer Programme Manager. Meeko will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and management of the Luxperience VIP Buyers.  Meeko has extensive experience in the worldwide travel industry. Working in a number of sectors of the industry has enabled her to develop strong relationships with key influencers. In addition to overseeing the worldwide agent, Meeko will also be primarily responsible for buyer attendees from the key Asian markets.

 

In another move, Bronwyn Towers has been appointed Customer Relations Executive. Bronwyn joins Luxperience to ensure the buyers' experience during Luxperience in Sydney is managed with premium service. With a strong and established background in corporate and leisure travel management, Bronwyn will oversee the travel and event arrangements for all Luxperience buyers.
 

Excitingly, Teree George, Director of Global Sales at Jumeirah Group is the most recent addition to the Luxperience Advisory Board.
 

Teree started her tenure with the prestigious Jumeirah Group in Dubai in 2005.  After spending three exciting years in a developing tourism hot spot, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts saw an important emerging market in the Australian region and Teree returned home in 2008 to launch the Australian global sales office for the group.

 

Teree joins the board alongside five of the travel industry's foremost experts in luxury and experiential travel, including Karen Christensen, General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing in Australasia, Silversea Cruises; Aileen London, Senior Manager Global Meeting Services, JAPAC, Orcale Corporation; Sam Russell, Global Sector Manager, Premium, Tourism New Zealand; Jeremy Linblad, Business Development Director - Australia, Linblad Expeditions and Hilary Doling, Editor in Chief and Founder,
