Flybe., one of Europe�s largest low cost airlines, today announced a new �1 million advertising and promotions campaign to support the launch of 18 new routes and drive sales of the 3.1million seats now offered across its winter schedule 2005/6.
The �1m will be spent across a multi media campaign using national and regional press, outdoor, online and viral email marketing.
The campaign will feature flybe.�s biggest sales promotion to date in which all customers who purchase flights between 27th June and 14th July 2005 will be given the chance to enter a prize draw to win a Landrover Freelander 4x4 car, worth �18,000.
The promotion will be given significant presence on www.flybe.com, with details being sent to flybe.�s large email subscriber database.
The winter programme will offer a mix of ski, winter sun and popular city routes as part of flybe.�s overall strategy of continued investment and expansion of both its domestic and international route network. Significant and continued expansion has also been phased in at Exeter, Birmingham and Southampton, with new routes and increases in frequency on existing routes.
These major developments support the company�s successful growth plan and confirm its commitment to consolidating its profile as one of the largest regional low fares business and leisure carriers in the UK, with a network stretching across the backbone of Britain. Flybe.�s new routes for its 2005/6 winter schedule, available for booking on www.flybe.com include:
� Norwich to Alicante, Malaga, Chambery, Geneva, Aberdeen and Dublin � Exeter to Chambery, Geneva, Faro and Murcia � Birmingham to Berne, Chambery, Geneva and Salzburg � Southampton to Berne, Chambery, Geneva and Salzburg
