The Twelve Apostles is also a picture-perfect wedding venue. Situated on the most scenic route in Cape Town, if not the world, the property is flanked by the majestic Twelve Apostles Mountain range and guided by an incandescent marine reserve. Wedding options range from morning teas and celebratory lunches to grand dinners overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Wedding Coordinator Stephanie Hall-Tarling is dedicated to assist the bride with planning every detail, from flowers to entertainment and customized menus.

The happy couple may then wish to celebrate with a stylish reception at the Atlantic Terrace Marquee, where glorious sunsets spill directly into the venue. The marquee is available for breakfast, lunch or dinner, with catering options including scrumptious canapés on arrival, followed by a plated starter, a buffet style main course and a delicious plated dessert.

For small, intimate and hassle-free weddings, The Twelve Apostles also offers a special mid-week Destination Wedding package, available Mondays to Thursdays. It includes the wedding ceremony, complete with legal arrangements and the certificate of marriage; a bouquet of African indigenous flowers for the bride and a buttonhole for the groom; and a wedding cake for four people. In addition, the bridal couple will be spoiled with a romantic rose petal turndown with sparkling wine and a set of embroidered towels with their new initials to take home as a keepsake. This package is valid from Jan. 6 through Dec. 20, 2016, starting from $645 per wedding couple, in addition to the accommodation rate. A minimum stay of two nights applies, and this excludes wedding catering cost. Maximum 16 people in the bridal party.

As a honeymoon destination, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa offers numerous romantic activities that include dual spa treatments, picnics for two or sundowner cocktails in The Leopard Bar, as well as mountain walks and plenty of relaxation time. Couples may also indulge in romantic sundowners and dinners, enjoy a movie night in the hotel's very own cinema, or be whisked off to the beaches or the V&A Waterfront by complimentary hotel shuttle. The Celebrations package is an excellent way for a couple to start their new life together, and includes accommodations with breakfast, a three-course dinner and access to the plunge pools and salt water floatation pools at The Spa as well as a choice of two special treats such as a romantic rose petal turndown, a mini snack platter served in the room at sunset, or a bottle of sparkling wine.
