Easy to reach by plane for a short break or by car for longer holidays, the Lot Valley* is full of surprises during the summer months :
 

from June to September, the Valley resonates with music from classical to jazz or world music, street theatre (days or nights), religious processions, gastronomic events but also unusual festivals like the Square bowls festival or the Big Jump : several beaches on the Lot banks take part once again in this European project (more information on www.rivernet.org/bigjump/welcome.htm), this year on the 14th July at 3pm.

No problem, for its 5th édition Cahors Plage is bringing sand, beach activities to you with a 90m long beach on Cahors bank and another 2000 square meters sand beach just for you pleasure (from 6th July to 18th August 2013). The quality of water is carefully monitored  and it is completely safe to swim or enjoy water sports in the river Lot.
