www.ski-livigno.com is the new UK portal for one of Livigno's longest established travel providers, and as the resort opens for skiing on November 29th , so begins the 'Skipass Free' season. Created to attract early and late season visitors to Livigno, the initiative, now in its 5th year, has been an overwhelming success.

'Skipass Free' is a simple concept; in order to qualify guests have to spend 7 nihghts in an apartment or 4 nights in a hotel participating in the scheme. Provided that this minimum requirement is met, the skipass – commensurate with the length of stay – is absolutely free. 'Skipass Free' starts on November 29th and ends on December 19th for the early season period, and from April 11th until May 3rd for the late season period.

Prices are from €212 per person for 7 nights in a Ski-Livigno.com fully equipped apartment, which will either be close to a ski lift or close to a ski bus stop. The price also includes a six day Livigno skipass and one free dinner at Mario's restaurant, long since a favourite of visitors to the resort.

There are plenty of ways to get to Livigno, with Saturday airport transfers available from the following airports - Bergamo, Milan and Innsbruck, with the addition of Friedrichshafen from December 13th. Both British Airways and Monarch fly to Friedrichshafen each Saturday from Gatwick, with Monarch also offering a Manchester service.

Skiers and boarders wil enjoy 115 km of piste (plus a freeride zone) in a high altitude, snow sure and picturesque resort on the border with Switzerland, about an hour from St. Moritz. Because of Livigno's long-standing duty free status, the resort offers exceptionally good value.
