WHAT: LIGHTFAIR® International (LFI®), the world's largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference, will produce the largest trade show in its history at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from April 21-25. With additions to the show floor, conference program and events schedule designed to deliver technologies and information that will define the future, the LFI® 2013 trade show will feature more than 500 exhibitors and the addition of two new product categories—solar power and software, and the addition of new space—Hall F on the 100 Level. The conference program will offer 66 accredited courses over 5 days totaling more than 200 hours. Hall F illuminates the future of new lighting technologies with a spotlight on a diverse and well-known lineup of exhibitors.
LFI® alternates between the East and West Coast, with the 2011 show taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The 2011 show had record-breaking attendance and was rated highly by organizers for overall event experience based on location, ease of access, convenience and food services in or close to the Convention Center.
On Tuesday, April 23, LightFEST, a signature event of 2013, will bring together industry professionals from around the world for an evening of networking, entertainment, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Attendees and exhibitors will celebrate opening day of the trade show following the closing of the trade show floor on Day 1.
LightFEST takes place Tuesday, April 23 from 6:15-8 p.m. at the Pennsylvania Convention Center ballroom.
