NEW HOTELS
HILTON LAKE COMO – OPENING 11 JANUARY 2018
The new Hilton Lake Como will finally be opened to clients on 11 January 2018. The hotel is situated in a residential area between the centre and the Swiss border, near Villa Olmo and it is the result of a re-development of a factory producing fabrics. NOBILDONNE RELAIS IN ROME
An all-suite boutique hotel, Nobildonne Relais has recently been opened in the centre of Rome, near the Spanish Steps. The Relais offers 4 suites named after noble Roman women: Paolina Borghese, Donna Olimpia Pamphili, Beatrice Cenci and Lucrezia Borgia, all individually designed and equipped with the latest technology and comforts. Available to the guests is also a living room with Chesterfield sofa, armchairs, a fireplace and a magnificent fresco-painted ceiling.

SAVONA 18 SUITES (4*) IN MILAN
The Savona 18 Suites Hotel opened recently in the trendy Navigli area of Milan. The hotel, part of the chain Blu Hotels, is housed in a renovated old Milanese court-style building and offers 43 rooms and suites, a café' for breakfast and snacks, a meeting room and an impressive internal court where it is possible to organize events and presentations.
THE SANTA SEVERA CASTLE TO BECOME A HOSTEL IN SRING 2018
The magnificent Castello di Santa Severa along the northern Lazio coast will host a hostel as from Spring 2018. It will be a youth hostel with a difference offering 40 bedrooms in its historic surroundings, restaurant, bar, café' and local produce shop. VILLA TUSCOLANA PARK HOTEL (4*) in Frascati now a Space Hotel
Space Hotels has recently acquired the Villa Tuscolana Park Hotel in Frascati, near Rome. The Hotel is housed in a patrician villa dating back to the 16th century in the Parco dei Castelli Romani and offers 4 junior suites with panoramic views over Rome and the Parco, a number of superior, deluxe and classic rooms. CAPORTIGIA BOUTIQUE HOTEL (5*) IN SIRACUSA now an Allegro Hotel
Allegro Hotels & Condo has recently acquired the Caportigia Boutique Hotel in Siracusa, Sicily. The hotel in located in the historic centre of Siracusa and housed in an old aristocratic palazzo in front of the Forum. The hotel offers 14 rooms all luxuriously appointed and equipped with all modern facilities and a panoramic terrace where breakfast is served. NEW - LA RINASCENTE FLAGSHIP STORE IN ROME
The new La Rinascente flagship department store has recently been opened in Via Del Tritone in the centre of Rome. This iconic Italian brand now offers a multi-sensorial experience, with stunning design, luxury shops, rooftop restaurants and bars. Go to the top floor for a view of roman roofs and domes, or to the basement for the remains of a Roman aqueduct, and admire the re-construction of an aristocratic Roman palazzo within the store.

NEW “IL CANNETO” RESTAURANT AT THE SHERATON MILAN MALPENSA
The 4* Sheraton Milan Malpensa Hotel has completely re-designed his restaurant “Il Canneto”, offering now 150 seats. GIULIA RESTAURANT in Rome
Giulia Restaurant Roma has recently been opened in the central and historical Via Giulia in Rome. This new gourmet restaurant is headed by the young chef Pierluigi Gallo. The restaurant is elegantly furnished with a touch of vintage charm and the cuisine is inspired by local traditions using home-produced ingredients. VYTA ENOTECA DEL LAZIO in Rome
The Enoteca Regionale del Lazio, Lazio Region wine e food centre, has recently re-opened its restaurant with the new name Vyta after total restyling. The restaurant offers menus inspired by the traditional local cuisine made with locally produced ingredients. ASSAGGIA ROMA RESTAURANT in Rome
Assaggia Roma is a new concept for the Capital, a tapas restaurant Roman style, opened recently by the famous starred chef Angelo Troiani. The restaurant is situated in the centre, in the arty Via Margutta and can host 70 diners with the possibility of dining “al fresco” in a small terrace. OASI ZEGNA APPOINTS STAR CHEF GIACOMO GALLINA AT “BUCANEVE”
The Hotel Bucaneve, in the park of the Oasi Zegna built at 1500m of altitude in the Alps near Biella in Piedmont, has appointed star chef Giacomo Gallina, disciple of the celebrity chef Gualtiero Marchesi, to run its restaurant “Bucaneve” as from this December.
