Canberra's newest dining offering at Capitol Bar & Grill
Capitol Bar & Grill fires up the heat with an intimate experience at their new and exclusive Chef’s Table, continuing the story of QT Canberra’s signature restaurant, as an unrivalled Italian inspired dining destination.
Introducing a new Friday night ritual throughout the month of July, Executive Chef Michael Box has created a six course journey of seasonal tastes, highlighting the best of the region with farm to table dining. Slink into the best seats in the capital and lean into an evening where paired pours are optional but highly recommended, with local wines such as Sapling Yard Pinot Noir and Domaine Laroche Chablis Premier, on offer.
“Our Chef’s Table gives you an experience like no other. You will discover traditional cooking techniques like cooking over iron bark sourced from the Blue Mountains, or pan roasting in custom cast iron pans, like those that would be used over the camp fire on a cold winters night” says Executive Chef, Michael Box.
Guests are invited to unleash their inner gourmand as the Chef’s Table experience features highlights from their new winter menu; such as freshly shucked Marimbula Oysters and grilled Rottnest scallops, zucchini blossoms with goat’s curd, pecorino, romesco and honey from QT Canberra’s very own rooftop beehive. The comfort of home settles in with the smell of slow roasted lamb shoulder from Junee NSW with house made salsa verde, while hearing first-hand about the produce, providores and heart of every dish on feasting menu.
The Chef’s Table builds on the local love of Capitol Bar & Grill, a dining destination amongst locals and culinary connoisseurs, led by Executive Chef Michael Box.
