Leading Media Titles and Industry Brands Heading to IMM UK this Spring

TravMedia (UK)

Top media titles and exhibitors representing leading travel and tourism brands are heading to TravMedia's IMM Spring (International Media Marketplace) at London's QEII Centre.

Now in its third year, the exhibition-style event (2 March 2015) is moving to central London's largest exhibition space, following sell-out events in 2013 and 2014.

Already over 250 journalists and over 50 brands have registered to attend IMM Spring (www.travmedia.com/immuk), a day-long event showcasing tourism destinations and travel brands to the nation's leading journalists.

The demand for a dedicated industry event to connect travel journalists and travel/tourism PR professionals led TravMedia to inaugurate IMM in 2013. As with previous IMM events, exhibitors take dedicated tables and journalists either pre-schedule appointments or simply visit the brands they wish.

London's QEII Centre is situated in Parliament Square, under the watchful eye of Big Ben and Westminster Abbey, and has recently completed a £12m refurbishment.

IMM attracts registrations from across the media spectrum, including the UK's top travel writers and journalists whose focus extends to areas such as food, fashion, entertainment and health.

Exhibitors at IMM Spring already include Austrian National Tourist Office, Canadian Tourism Commission, Carnival Cruise Lines, Cultural Heart of Germany, Hayes and Jarvis, Italian National Tourist Board, Oxfordshire Cotswolds, The Landmark Trust, Thermae Bath Spa, Tourism Ireland, Treasure Houses of England, Visit California, Visit Flanders, Visit Kent and Visit Scotland (full list below).

Media titles registered include ABTA Magazine, Condé Nast Traveller, Daily Telegraph, ELLE, Esquire, ITV, Lonely Planet Traveller, Mail on Sunday, National Geographic Traveller, Rough Guides, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun, The Sunday Times, The Times and Wanderlust.

Said Henry Hemming, TravMedia UK's Managing Director: “IMM is now in its third year, and the level of demand we've witnessed for the event from the media and exhibitors led us to the QEII. We're all set for a big day on 2 March.
